Happy Good Friday!
As we come to the end of the month I like to reflect. March; known as Women's History Month has been a fabulous month this go around. I felt the love of seeing women do phenomonel things around the world, state, city and community. Coming off of the heels of African American History month I must say seeing brown women like me in the healthcare industry and various industries doing amazing things has inspired me to continue to push for greatness. It has also confirmed the importance of helping others along the way in however I can, be it encouraging word, mentorship and showing up.
I love seeing when women of all shapes and sizes, colors and religions gather and lift one another up and rally together for equality and change for the better for our communities. It really makes me smile inside! Yass! We must remind ourselves we all have a different journey! Don't compare yourself and where you are, your journey is special and unique you don't need to be like anyone else, just be YOU.
To my ladies in the Community Health Worker field continue to strive for greatness connecting your communities to the resources they need to add value to their healthcare journey. You are a CHW, you are amazing and much needed in your community. Keep up the great work!
